The idea of this assignmnent was to recreate characters based on existing concepts, really focusing on the translation from 2D to 3D.

First of all it is of course important to get a good understanding of proportion and anatomy, while later on the focus shifted towards creating convincing assets and materials for the characters, either stylized or realistic, always keeping in mind that the flow and edgeloops must be placed in a correct manner for rigging and animating.

All characters were first sculpted and retopologized, then textured, posed and presented using a simple custom light setup. Baking normal maps was optional.
