Platform Development 4 brings together the diverse programming and game development skills acquired in previous courses, focusing on multiplayer integration. This course introduces students to the fundamentals of online game connectivity, covering lobby systems, matchmaking, and both peer-to-peer (P2P) and dedicated server solutions.

 

Students will explore multiple approaches to multiplayer development, ensuring they can make informed technical decisions for their future projects. The course also covers Unity NetCode, server setup, and data storage/retrieval using SQL and ASP.NET, providing hands-on experience with the core technologies behind multiplayer gaming.

 

By the end of this course, students will have the skills to develop and implement robust multiplayer experiences, preparing them for professional game production.
