Last week we had our last study night of the year. The Level changed in a fancy location where everyone put on their most fancy outfit to shine through the night. There was a bar where students could get cocktails or for the non-alcohol drinkers mocktails. All the cocktails and mocktails are handmade. There were a variety of options just like Mojitos, Blue Lagoon, and many more!

During the night there was a dancefloor with amazing music from our DJ. For the people who would like to try Salsa, there was a free Salsa workshop to learn the basics. Also, there was a photobooth where people had the opportunity to capture memories all night long.

During the prom night, the winners of the L’Oreal Style and Colour Throphy and the NYX CGI Halloween make-up competition were announced.

We are excited to announce our collaboration with L'Oréal Professionnel for the national selection of the L'Oréal Style and Colour Trophy in Belgium. This international contest challenges CGI artists to create innovative and futuristic hairstyle designs, providing a platform for professionals to compete internationally and set new trends in the industry. This year's theme, "Utopia: The Future Powered by Tech," inspired incredible creative end results for the character creation course, and we are proud to announce that the winner is Natalia Grytczuk who will advance to the international selection, representing Belgium on a global stage.

Next to the Style and Colour trophy challenge we also had the NYX challenge which was open to everyone. They had to design a total transformation make-up look for Halloween under the theme "Villain Era." They had the freedom to work in both 2D and 3D. The winner from the NYX competition is Valeria Balaneva!

Our partnership with L'Oréal Professionnel is mutually beneficial: we assisted L'Oréal in creating a visionary future for fashion, while they provide our students with new experiences and opportunities to broaden their horizons. This highlights how the skills of DAE students extend beyond the entertainment industry of movies and games, showcasing their versatility and applicability across diverse creative fields.
